Mother:
My daughter is in senior high school and though she had been constantly giving me straight A’s, I cant help but be a bit worried her. I do not feel that she has good companions at school. She is a girl and she should be acting like one. Not to black shirts and heavy make ups, loud rock music and locked bedroom doors. She should act her age.

Daughter:
I am in my senior year in high school. The toughest year in high school. I need to study hard and locked doors gives me the concentration I need. I wear black shirts since I can express myself with that color, it is nothing rebellious. I love rock music since it depicts utmost emotions and I can relate to that. I want to be a CPA that’s why I’ll do everything to have an almost perfect grades in school. I hope my mom would stop worrying about me. School is hard if you can’t find enjoyment in it. Some of the teachers can be really mean and makes a hard subject harder. Projects and assignments can cut through the bonding time with friends. But being in school is not about meeting friends, it is about learning lot of things and being equipped with the knowledge needed in the real world out there. High school can be the most memorable days in any one’s life but it should also be a strong foundation through college. Books and lectures should never be a burden, they should be your armour.
